The team's general manager, Paul Holmgren, is very pleased with Stevens' work and what he has accomplished as well as the relationships he has established with various players. Holmgren also feels he is the best man in leading the Flyers towards the right direction and to keep them out of the whole they dug themselves in. Stevens' work has put the Flyers at 16-13-3 and is currently tied for the ninth spot within the Eastern Conference.
