The Royals are widely known as the worst team in baseball. Improvement came in 2006, but it looked more like a tortoise than a hare as K.C. gained only six more victories from 2005 to make it over the 60-win mark for the season. It can't get any worse for the Royals so I think we can feel safe about picking them to improve again in 2007, but it will most assuredly not be a drastic turnaround as the Royals would like.
