Man Accused Of Gambling With Counterfeit Money
A 38-year-old man from Arizona is scheduled for arraignment today on charges that he gambled with counterfeit money at Foxwoods Resort Casino, state police said.
Clifton George Henry is charged with first-degree forgery and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny. He is being held on $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in New London today.
Henry was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he was caught using fake cash at the casino's Newport Room, state police said. State police searched his rental car and found $14,600 in counterfeit money. Read more
