It outlines and exposes the tricks used by irrational skepticism to maintain incessant negativity even with quite valid new developments in a given field or science. In the opinion of the author, irrational skepticism is similar to the activities of scam merchants-the latter delude the credulous, while the former attempt to delude the cautious.
