Most recreational or inexperienced baseball bettors define value as those baseball picks which reside on the "plus" side of the ledger. In other words, they believe that underdogs are the only baseball picks which have value. While it is generally easier to find value in underdogs than in favorites, this value is not inherent. It is not a given.
