Bingo buoys online game firm 888
Online gaming firm 888 has reported an 'encouraging' start to the year as it seeks to drive growth by launching new games.
The company, which was hit by US legislation outlawing internet gambling last year, said growth had been buoyed by new games including Crazy Blackjack and the launch of its new online bingo product.
888 bought Belize-based Globalcom's online poker business in March for 32.4 million US dollars ( 16.4m).
This month the firm has also introduced a wide selection of casino games into its poker platform to boost gaming revenues. Read more
